A large tattooed man charges. Sera pivots and delivers a sweeping kick with explosive speed.
The impact tears across his face and launches him backward. Blood sprays through the air.
The scene immediately cuts to Sera standing among multiple unconscious or groaning gang members. Her suit is stained with blood, but she remains upright and composed.
The injured woman in the purple jacket stares in disbelief:
WH-WHAT?!
A tattooed man on the ground asks:
WHO IS THAT BITCH NOW?!
Sera turns toward the injured colleague, her expression suddenly gentler.

Another tattooed man recognizes the situation with growing panic:

Sera turns to the injured junior and asks:
RIGHT… WHY WERE YOU FIGHTING?
The woman tries to explain:
I THOUGHT YOU WERE DOING WELL… DID YOU GET CAUGHT?
N-NO… IT’S JUST THAT…
She says the gang was forcing a high-school student to attack someone, and she intervened because their behavior disgusted her:
THEY WERE MAKING A HIGH SCHOOL KID BEAT PEOPLE UP AND TRIED TO MAKE ME DO THE SAME…

The red-haired senior reflects:
I KNOW… NOW WE CAN’T FIRE HER ANYMORE…
BUT SERA IS TOO OVERCONFIDENT AND ALWAYS ACTS RECKLESSLY.
Flashback panels show Sera throwing herself into fights, ignoring danger, and refusing to retreat.

The senior decides:

The senior smiles with chilling calm:
FIGHT ME WITH EVERYTHING YOU GOT.
Ham Bu-kwon’s eye narrows.
He lunges and throws a massive punch:

The senior slips inside the attack and smashes a counter into his face. His head whips to the side.
He immediately tries to swing again:
SO YOU ARE GOOD AT FIGHTING, HUH?!
She ducks and delivers a second crushing blow. The larger man collapses sideways, stunned.
The colleague watches with her mouth open.
The senior says:
LET ME MAKE IT CLEAR…

The senior uses a low, precise step and launches upward into Ham Bu-kwon’s center line. The movement lifts or overturns his immense body.
A final head strike sends blood spraying as he crashes down.
The injured colleague exclaims:

Ham Bu-kwon lies flat on his back, eyes unfocused.
The colleague thinks:

The senior looks down with a fierce smile and delivers the final rule:

Chapter-level continuity notes¶
The real lesson is command discipline¶
The injured recruit’s instinct to protect a high-school student is not condemned. Her failure is acting without support, charging into a gang alone, and becoming another person who must be rescued. The senior’s new permission rule preserves moral initiative while placing it inside an accountable chain of command.
Sera’s full-time status raises the stakes¶
The personnel document means she can no longer be treated as a temporary recruit who may simply be dismissed. The agency must either train her into a reliable officer or accept responsibility for the damage caused by her recklessness.
The senior’s strength is technical rather than theatrical¶
Ham Bu-kwon is introduced through size, wrestling credentials, gang reputation, and national backing. She defeats him with positioning, timing, chin control, and two accurate strikes. Her closing advice identifies his mistake as basic fighting incompetence despite his power.
The gang’s “national organization” is intimidation through scale¶
Ham Bu-kwon repeatedly invokes members across the country. The chapter visually counters that boast by reducing the organization’s strongest representative to an unconscious body in seconds.
The injured colleague’s fear is reasonable¶
She has personally fought Ham Bu-kwon and knows his durability. Her shock is not cowardice; it establishes how far beyond ordinary gang fighters the senior’s ability actually lies.
