Images 001–003 — The audit report and the strange attachment

Na and Hanrim finish the national audit report after working through the night.

Wang Soyu demands to review it before leaving and passes the burden to Assistant Deputy Director Kim.

Among the documents, Na notices a page titled or centered around:

EMPEROR’S DNA

He wonders whether it is a web novel or parody.

The page is actually a detailed guide for handling Wang’s son.

Images 004–006 — Homeroom teacher Kim Mihyun introduces Hyunjong’s behavior

The narration shifts to Kim Mihyun, an elementary-school homeroom teacher.

Lee Hyunjong repeatedly disrupts class:

  • he takes classmates’ objects,
  • talks over instruction,
  • cannot sustain attention,
  • ignores class rules,
  • acts without regard for other children,
  • and becomes violent when frustrated.

He threatens classmates with language translated along the lines of:

DO YOU WANT ME TO KILL YOU?

Other teachers advise Mihyun not to intervene strongly.

A previous temporary homeroom teacher physically separated Hyunjong from a fight, was accused of child abuse, and lost the position.

Mihyun knows Wang is a highly educated Ministry deputy director. She hopes a parent with that background will understand the seriousness of the case.

Images 007–010 — The “Emperor’s DNA” manual

Wang gives the teacher a written set of instructions.

The readable rules include:

  1. Use requests and suggestions, never commands; address him like a crown prince.
  2. Do not force foods he dislikes; provide snacks or alternatives and maintain protein.
  3. Do not restrict his actions; treat them as expressions of individuality.
  4. Always take his side in conflicts; another child must have provoked him.
  5. He is weak at mathematics, so do not force study before his genius activates.
  6. Avoid negative words such as “no” and “don’t”; phrase everything as a request.
  7. Do not force greetings because it may damage self-esteem.
  8. Praise him constantly and excessively.

The manual removes every ordinary boundary while requiring teachers and classmates to absorb the consequences.

Images 011–013 — Hyunjong discovers the private class chat

During physical education, Hyunjong remains alone gaming because the teacher has been instructed not to force him to participate.

He discovers a classmates’ group chat that excludes him.

Messages describe him as dirty, mention yellow teeth, insult his intelligence, call his mother a psychopath, and say everyone hates him.

The bullying is cruel, but it also reveals that the class has built a hidden space to escape him.

Hyunjong interprets the exclusion only as rebellion:

YOU ALL DARE LEAVE ME OUT?

He storms toward the others.

Images 014–016 — Wang blames the teacher

Wang confronts Kim Mihyun.

She says the teacher left her child alone and may have encouraged the ostracism.

Mihyun explains that she cannot give one child unlimited special treatment while he injures everyone around him.

The teacher finally blurts out the thought she has suppressed:

ISN’T THIS THE RESULT OF HOW YOU RAISED HIM?

Wang’s face hardens.

She threatens to use her Ministry authority to have the teacher removed.

The conflict is no longer about Hyunjong’s needs. It is about punishing an adult who contradicts Wang’s narrative.

Images 017–019 — Na appears to cooperate

Na arrives smiling.

Wang presents herself as a government superior and describes Mihyun as an irresponsible teacher who encouraged bullying.

Na initially seems agreeable. He asks for the result rather than a long explanation.

Mihyun assumes another official has arrived to protect Wang.

In the corridor, Hyunjong is already attacking another student.

Wang tells him to stop, but he does not respond to her.

The boy remembers that the previous teacher was punished for touching him. He believes any adult intervention can be labeled child abuse.

Images 020–023 — Na becomes the “impostor” inside the Ministry

Na catches Hyunjong and forcefully restrains or strikes him before he can continue.

The child is shocked that the threat of a complaint has not stopped the adult.

Na asks whether this is what Hyunjong wanted to do to the other student.

Wang assumes the Ministry inspector may still protect one of his own officials.

Na turns toward her and smiles.

The scanlation describes him as the “impostor” or different one inside the Ministry of Education—meaning the official who does not accept rank, connection, or departmental loyalty as an excuse.

The chapter ends with Wang realizing that her position will not control this investigation.

Chapter-level continuity notes

The manual makes ordinary education impossible

A teacher cannot maintain a shared classroom if one child may refuse every instruction, avoid every unwanted task, and automatically be declared innocent in every conflict.

The group chat shows both victimization and consequence

Hyunjong is being mocked in ways no child deserves. At the same time, the secret group exists because classmates feel unsafe confronting or including him.

Wang uses diagnosis language without accepting treatment

She describes difference as genius and demands accommodation, but rejects boundaries, assessment, and accountability.

Na’s intervention attacks learned immunity

Hyunjong has learned that the phrase “child abuse” can neutralize teachers. Na shows him that legal protection does not authorize violence against others.

The next conflict is institutional

Wang’s strongest weapon is not the child’s behavior. It is her ability to threaten teachers through Ministry connections.
