Images 001–014 — A flowerpot falls from above¶
Sunyoung repeats her warning that Hanrim should keep her head down.
A flowerpot suddenly falls from an upper window.
Hanrim pulls Sunyoung out of its path before impact.
The object shatters on the ground.
Hanrim reveals that she did not arrive as an ordinary trainee.
She was sent by the Teachers’ Rights Protection Agency because the school has become dangerous.
The attack confirms that the class’s hostility is not limited to jokes or social exclusion.
Images 015–037 — Mr. Go’s trust in students¶
The story moves into the history of Go Yeongsoo, a kind ninth-grade homeroom and history teacher.
Mr. Go believed bad behavior could be corrected through listening and trust.
Yeri Han once served as a class deputy.
Mr. Go found an electronic cigarette or vape in her desk.
Yeri said another student pressured her.
She promised not to repeat the behavior.
Mr. Go chose conversation over immediate punishment.
Another teacher warned that Yeri had already manipulated staff members before.
Mr. Go continued believing that public humiliation would only harden her.
Images 038–055 — The anonymous accusation¶
The principal receives an anonymous report alleging that Mr. Go hit a student.
The school reacts quickly.
Rather than investigate thoroughly, administrators remove or suspend him to protect the institution from controversy.
Students whisper and stare.
Mr. Go becomes socially isolated before the accusation has been tested.
The gentle teacher who believed every child had a reason behind misconduct discovers that the institution has no equivalent patience for him.
Unable to endure the false accusation and public shame, he dies by suicide.

Students say Yeri told Mr. Go to stop hitting her.

Hanrim reveals her identity.

Images 104–114 — “I’m not as nice as him”¶
Hanrim says she studied Mr. Go’s teaching through surviving online videos and records.
He gave Yeri opportunities because he believed kindness could guide her.
She treated that patience as weakness.
Hanrim leans close.

The chapter ends with Yeri realizing that the new adult knows the exact history she has tried to reduce to a joke.
