Strips 001–002 — The team cannot identify the captured attackers¶
The chapter opens the following morning.
Na and Daniel travel by subway. Commuters recognize them as TRPA inspectors, whisper, take pictures, and even stick gum onto Na’s back.
Daniel asks whether anything unusual happened.
Na answers that public contact has become common and asks about the attackers captured by Hanrim and Sera.
Hanrim calls:
TEAM LEADER! WE GOT THEM!
The team gathers around the three restrained youths.
None of the inspectors recognizes the long-haired woman or the two men.
This is strange. A revenge attack would normally come from someone connected to an earlier case, yet these appear to be complete strangers.
Na begins a formal interrogation.
Strip 003 — Park Mari blames the other two¶
Na says:
STARTING NOW, ANSWER MY QUESTIONS ONE BY ONE.
The long-haired woman shouts that she did not do anything serious. She says the two males asked her to help film, so she only held the camera.
A caption identifies her:
PARK MARI, 17 YEARS OLD
Na asks who the two men are and whether she understands the seriousness of the situation.
Mari points at them:
IT WAS THESE TWO!
The men immediately accuse her.
The room erupts into overlapping claims.
Strip 004 — Every participant minimizes their own role¶
Mari says she initially thought it was only a hidden-camera prank.
According to her, the two men began hitting Sera, and she told them they were going too far.
The men insist Mari was the one who refused to stop.
Hanrim demands to know whether a simple prank was not exciting enough and whether they kept escalating for a larger payout.
The three yell that the others are lying.
Na strikes the desk and restores order.
FROM NOW ON, ONLY THE PERSON I POINT TO WILL ANSWER.
He points at Mari.
WHAT DID YOU MEAN BY “BOUNTY”…?
Mari gives up the performance.
WELL… I GUESS I HAVE NO CHOICE NOW…
Strip 005 — The WRECKTRPA bounty chat¶
Mari shows the team a group chat with more than one hundred members.
The room contains a WANTED poster displaying the faces of Na, Hanrim, Daniel, and a distorted or incomplete image representing Sera.
A message promises approximately:
10 MILLION WON
for the most impactful attack, personal-information leak, or challenge contribution against the inspectors.
The chat encourages participants not to be afraid and promises that the reward is real.
Sera is impressed by the amount before remembering that she is one of the targets.
Na says the campaign is now a serious public-safety problem. If ordinary students begin attacking for money, the agency will face an endless supply of unrelated offenders rather than one identifiable gang.
An open bounty turns every random stranger into a possible attacker.
Na also studies the leaked profiles.
Strips 006–008 — The leaked inspector profiles point toward G.Y.¶
The bounty page contains profiles of the inspectors.
Na’s entry describes him as a former special-task-force captain, exceptionally strong and intelligent, and warns that anyone he catches either reforms or is “screwed.”
Hanrim’s entry describes her military background and overwhelming combat ability.
Daniel’s profile identifies him as half Korean and half American, publicly nonviolent but frightening when he decides to intervene.
Sera’s actual identity remains unrevealed.
The team remembers one person Sera encountered while openly acting as a TRPA agent: the young leader connected to G.Y.
That figure previously said they would meet again.
The timing is too fast for Kim Giryong to have organized the operation, and the amount of money being offered suggests a wealthy individual or criminal organization.
Na concludes that it is about time G.Y. revealed itself.
He whispers instructions to Hanrim.
She answers:
UNDERSTOOD.
Hanrim then grabs Mari and drags her into the changing area.
Strip 009 — Temporary tattoos expose the false lead¶
Hanrim orders Mari to remove her clothes down to her underwear so the team can inspect her back and sides.
Mari screams and protests.
Sera watches with frightening enthusiasm.
The reason is practical: known G.Y. members carry identifying tattoos or marks.
Daniel and the male officers separately inspect the two men.
The men are clear.
Mari has a visible “G”-style mark, but it is a temporary tattoo.
Another temporary design on her side is a cute rabbit with hearts.
The trio therefore does not match the permanent identifying marks expected of full G.Y. members.
Na orders the police to take them immediately and requests investigation into the group-chat administrator.
The attackers beg and promise they will never do it again.
Strips 010–011 — Police corruption releases Mari¶
At the station, an officer explains the possible charges:
- illegal filming,
- aggravated assault,
- assault on a public official,
- and obstruction of official duty.
He tells the three that being minors does not make them immune and that their lives may be seriously damaged.
A senior police chief arrives.
He says everyone has worked hard, then suggests releasing Mari.
His reasoning is that she was not the “main culprit” and only helped with filming.
A suited bodyguard or associate answers:
AH, YES… UNDERSTOOD.
Mari waves:
HEY, OPPA~
She leaves the station smiling.
The bodyguard complains that her organization is insane. Every time Mari is caught, police contacts make the incident disappear.
Mari says charm is part of her appeal.
She is driven to a luxury vehicle and greets a pale young man:
CHIEF ADVISOR-NIM♡
A caption identifies him as:
NATIONAL VIOLENT YOUTH ORGANIZATION G.Y — CHIEF ADVISOR, JI YOON-KYUL
He congratulates her:
GOOD JOB, MARI.
Mari says she only endured the operation to get into his expensive car and marvels that one seat cushion appears to cost as much as a house.
Yoon-kyul says Na has already begun figuring them out.
Mari hands over the item or information she smuggled from the investigation.
She says the team searched for tattoos but did not discover her true affiliation.
The final caption reveals her role:

She smiles:
