Strip 001 — Wonsul recognizes a TRPA operation¶
Wonsul asks his debt-collection chief who the troublesome woman is.
The lower crews know her as Lee Seo-ah, an idol-obsessed debtor who stopped paying.
Wonsul compares the early photographs with the new footage.
The hair, clothing, body shape, and demeanor appear inconsistent.
He initially asks why someone pretty would need to imitate another person.
Then a detailed internal message arrives.
It lists multiple collection teams attacked by women with changing appearances and describes the use of wigs, padding, and disguises.
The message includes photographs of known or suspected TRPA inspectors.
Wonsul realizes that the branch is not dealing with one ordinary debtor.
WAIT… AREN’T THEY TRPA INSPECTORS?
The cell network has accidentally gathered enough fragments to expose Sera’s undercover operation.
Strip 002 — Wonsul sees an opportunity in the attack¶
Senior members react in panic.
Wonsul initially appears pleased.
He thinks the confrontation may finally allow him to prove he deserves greater authority inside G.Y.
Sera, meanwhile, continues performing the debtor role beside Na.
She complains dramatically that a boyfriend who called every day has suddenly ignored her for two days.
Na says the branch probably discovered who they are and “ghosted” the bait.
Sera cries that she has been dumped.
Na says the enemy will now choose one of two responses:
- prepare a direct attack;
- or withdraw and disappear.
Another thread is moving simultaneously.
A hostile figure has been told that killing or defeating Na may produce promotion to G.Y.’s leadership.
The chapter keeps the exact chain of orders partially hidden, but the succession conflict remains active.
Strip 003 — Wonsul’s luxury and ambition¶
Wonsul shops for an enormous gold watch.
He calls it beautiful and jokes that it deserves the title “boss of watches.”
The salesperson gives a price of approximately:
₩87 million
Wonsul says a real man needs a watch like that and buys it so long as it remains within his spending quota.
A subordinate asks why he has become unusually quiet about the TRPA.
Wonsul says he does not care about becoming the overall G.Y. boss if the price is openly attacking a government agency.
Children playing gangsters cannot defeat the state.
He intends to lie low and allow the problem to pass.
This caution separates him from the reckless pro-boss faction.
Strip 004 — Wonsul realizes Ji Yoon-kyul may be sacrificing him¶
A younger strategist reminds Wonsul of the “ropes” connecting the current operation to G.Y.’s internal politics.
A previous member nearly went to jail because of careless debt collection.
Wonsul’s branch then recruited Kang Changsung after his release from probation, hoping to use his loan-sharking expertise and eventually take over his business.
The recruiter later discovered that Changsung’s supervising adult was linked to the TRPA.
The suspiciously convenient connection suggests the recruitment may have been designed to draw the agency toward Busan.
Wonsul concludes that Ji Yoon-kyul wants to use the TRPA to eliminate inconvenient G.Y. branches.
The Busan operation may be another sacrificial piece.
Wonsul refuses to play along.
He promises that, once the immediate crisis passes, he will personally go after Yoon-kyul.
Strip 005 — The branch’s money stops arriving¶
A subordinate delivers the day’s collected money.
The envelope contains only a tiny amount—roughly ₩50,000—instead of the expected millions.
Wonsul erupts and asks whether the man is mocking him.
The chapter cuts to Na sitting before enormous stacks of seized cash.
The agency has identified the branch’s revenue system.
The core leaders do not receive money directly from the people making threats.
Instead, collectors deposit or withdraw cash through fake accounts, then hide bundles inside coin lockers at train stations.
Hours later, a different collector retrieves the package.
No single participant needs to meet a core member.
Na says the system can still be exploited by intercepting the revenue stream.
Strip 006 — The TRPA empties the coin lockers¶
With cooperation from station employees, the agency reviews cameras and opens the lockers used by collectors.
Most collectors wear dark clothing, caps, masks, and other items intended to avoid identification.
Their routes are still visible.
Cash is removed before the next cell arrives.
Na says that if the branch’s cash flow is dried up completely, the leadership will be forced to act.
So far, the plan is working.
The remaining stage depends on Sera.
Wonsul orders his members to gather for a new collection operation.
When he reaches the selected parking structure, he sees a large crowd around the rented yellow sports car.
Strip 007 — Sera offers Wonsul two choices¶
The car’s windshield has been shattered and Sera is sprawled dramatically across it.
Wonsul screams that someone ruined his car or the valuable bait vehicle.
Sera sits up and reveals that she knows exactly who he is.
She accuses him of beating victims and purchasing luxury items with their money.
Wonsul recognizes her as the TRPA inspector who has been destroying his collectors.
He gives her two choices:
- come quietly with him;
- or be beaten nearly to death and dragged away.
He asks where Na Hwa-jin is.
Sera pretends she needs to call the team leader for help.
Then she suggests a deal of her own.
If Wonsul helps her take out Na Hwa-jin, perhaps she can overlook part of what the branch did and give him half of the intercepted money.
Wonsul agrees suspiciously easily.
Strip 008 — Sera’s “special quiz”¶
Sera says he already knows the agency has taken the branch’s daily revenue.
Government salaries are not particularly high, she jokes, so perhaps the money has been tempting.
Then she begins one of her absurd “special quizzes.”
QUESTION: WHO IS KOREA’S ONLY UNDEFEATED WRESTLING GRAND CHAMPION, AND HOW MUCH IS HIS FORTUNE?
Wonsul asks what she is talking about.
Sera drives a knee or rising strike into his face before he can answer.
He crashes backward with blood spraying from his nose and mouth.
Wonsul accuses her of trying to buy him with money only to insult him.
Sera says she wants him to understand that she is a trustworthy “fund baby”—a joking claim that the money itself can trust her more than he can.
His subordinates rush forward shouting for their boss.
The chapter ends with Sera standing over the branch chief, the rented sports car behind her, and the forced exposure of the Busan leadership complete.
