Strip 001 — Sera offers Wonsul one chance¶
Wonsul struggles in the water.
Sera tells him to reveal the location of G.Y.’s headquarters.
If he talks, she will pull him out.
If he refuses, he can sink or freeze to death.
Wonsul appears ready to bargain.
Before he answers, vehicles arrive and armed men flood the pier.
He says he called them earlier as insurance.
Sera asks where the pack of dogs came from.
Wonsul’s subordinate smiles.
THEY FINALLY CAME…
Strip 002 — The reinforcements rescue Wonsul¶
The newcomers recognize Sera as an agency inspector.
Wonsul orders the men who know how to swim to pull him out while the others attack her.
Several leap into the water.
The remaining fighters rush Sera with fists, clubs, and numbers.
They initially believe that being a woman makes her easier to overwhelm.
Sera drives through the first attackers and knocks them across the pier.
The reinforcement group is better trained than the ordinary collectors, but they still underestimate her.
One man tries to seize her from behind.
She breaks the hold and throws him into another attacker.
Strip 003 — Wonsul’s personal guards enter the fight¶
The battle becomes more difficult.
The reinforcements are not random street thugs.
Each has studied at least one martial art, and several coordinate their attacks.
Sera is knocked down and struck repeatedly.
She realizes that Wonsul’s personal guards are genuinely capable fighters.
Wonsul, now back on land, tells them to beat her nearly unconscious and then bring her to him.
He orders part of the group to remain and help the others while he leaves.
Sera rises despite the accumulated damage.
DAMN…! I’M TOTALLY FUCKED!
Strip 004 — Wonsul retreats to his private safe house¶
Wonsul tells the guards to continue beating Sera.
He drives to a private apartment or residence holding the branch’s remaining wealth.
He says the raid and Sera’s interference have stacked up enormous losses.
Inside, he opens a hidden safe.
The Busan branch is effectively finished.
He reasons that if only Sera had been involved, he might have recovered.
Na Hwa-jin’s appearance changes the situation.
Wonsul describes Na as a monster capable of destroying an entire operations team without suffering a meaningful injury.
He decides to take the first flight out of Korea at dawn.
After the situation cools, he intends to return and settle matters with Ji Yun-gyeol.
Strip 005 — Sera defeats every reinforcement¶
Back at the pier, Sera stands over the defeated guards.
The entire reinforcement group lies unconscious.
She realizes that Wonsul escaped while she was fighting.
Her phone rings with a call from Na Hwa-jin.
He looks at her bloodied face and says she appears to have taken quite a detour.
Sera claims she stopped at a department store and returned.
She reports that the target vehicle was smashed so badly that the GPS tracker may have been destroyed.
Na tells her she has committed a serious violation of orders.
She braces for punishment.
Strip 006 — Na asks why she disobeyed¶
Na asks for Sera’s reason.
She says she initially intended to follow his lead.
Then she thought about victims like Lee Seo-ah and imagined another person reaching a breaking point while the inspectors sat nearby “monitoring.”
She decided she could not leave the collectors alone even for another second.
Na acknowledges that she has no excuse for violating the plan.
He then remembers the agency’s highest priority:
VICTIM PROTECTION
Hanrim explains that Sera’s strong empathy causes her hostility toward perpetrators to explode.
Understanding the source does not excuse the disobedience, but it may help the team manage her more effectively.
Na smiles.
He tells Sera that she will receive a written reprimand.
She must also apologize to the unrelated driver she incorrectly confronted during the search.
Strip 007 — Na has already captured Wonsul¶
Na says the original plan might have produced an easier route to G.Y.’s headquarters.
However, the victims would have continued suffering during the wait, and something irreversible might have happened.
He admits he became so focused on dismantling G.Y. that he nearly forgot the most important part of the job.
He praises Sera for protecting the victims even though her process was reckless.
Sera asks whether Wonsul has escaped.
Na says not to worry.
He already captured him at one of the branch chief’s known refuge locations.
Because G.Y. operates through semi-independent cells, Na did not expect Wonsul alone to reveal the entire organization immediately.
Still, Sera eliminated the members and Na caught the boss.
The Busan loan-sharking branch is finished.

Na calls the police and tells them to remove the “trash” scattered across the pier.
