Strip 1 — Cover and credits¶
The Imperfect Comics Chapter 57 card lists the scanlation staff and support information.
Strips 2–4 — Lim Han-rim is recognized at school¶
After the fiction disclaimer, students gather around the aftermath of a confrontation.
A boy asks:
“WHAT THE HELL IS THIS BITCH?”
Other students recognize the red-haired woman:
“HOH? ISN’T THAT THE TEACHERS’ RIGHT PROTECTION AGENCY?”
“OH MY GOD! YOU’RE RIGHT! IT’S THE RED HAIRED LIM HAN-RIM!”
They assume she has come for Hong Song-hak.
“I KNEW THEY WOULD COME ONE DAY BECAUSE OF HIM!”
Song-hak is irritated that the agency includes a woman and appears unaware of Lim’s public record.
He mutters about the school-violence committee and teacher authority, then directs his anger toward Lee Sang-wook.
“LEE SANG-WOOK, YOU BASTARD…”
Song-hak sees Sang-wook’s report—not his own violence—as the cause of his humiliation.
Strips 4–7 — Song-hak underestimates Lim¶
Song-hak asks what Lim is holding and dismisses her.
He says he might have taken the long-haired Na seriously, but Lim is:
“JUST A FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT.”
The series title logo interrupts the confrontation.
Afterward, Song-hak’s internal reaction becomes confused. He believes he can escape if he wants to, yet part of the restraint or impact feels unexpectedly intense.
“FEELS FUCKING GOOD?”
“IS THIS THE REWARD…?”
The scanlation turns his disorientation into a crude joke about discovering an unwanted new sensation.
Lim looks down at him with detached contempt.
Strips 8–10 — The followers wake up bruised¶
Hong Song-hak regains consciousness.
His followers call:
“HONG SEONG-HAK! ARE YOU DEAD?”
When he opens his eyes, the boys laugh at one another’s swollen faces.
They explain that while he was unconscious, they had to play rock-paper-scissors under Lim’s supervision.
The losers were struck.
“WHAT KIND OF A GIRL’S PUNCH HURTS SO BAD?”
One says he thought his soul left his body.
They are especially terrified that other students took photographs and circulated them.
Someone explains:
“SHE USED TO BE A SPECIAL AGENT…”
Song-hak curses them for losing to a woman.
The boys joke about being strangled and discovering a “whole new world,” but the humor cannot conceal that their aura of invincibility has collapsed publicly.
Strips 10–12 — Song-hak becomes a “lame duck”¶
A student shows the group chat used by the second-year students.
Song-hak had not realized they maintained a space outside his control.
Messages and images show classmates celebrating the bullies’ defeat.
Song-hak asks:
“I FEEL LIKE SHIT NOW! IS THIS WHAT THEY CALL A LAME DUCK??”
His followers agree that everyone seems happy.
One says that, at this rate, Sang-wook—the person who called the agency—will be happiest of all.
Song-hak imagines Sang-wook smiling.
“WOOK BEING HAPPY…”
The thought enrages him more than suspension, police, or public embarrassment.
Strips 13–15 — Sang-wook leaves the hospital¶
Sang-wook is discharged or preparing to return to school.
Someone tells him he could have remained hospitalized longer, but he says there is no longer anything to worry about.
“I CAN GO TO SCHOOL TOMORROW.”
He says he needs to buy a few things and tells his companion to go home first.
A message from Sunjung reads:
“Sang-wook, I’m sorry and thank you…”
“How did you get the courage, I…”
Sang-wook responds in person or by message:
“NO, SUNJUNG, YOU DID WELL TOO.”
“IT’S ALL OVER NOW.”
“LET’S GO TO SCHOOL WITH A SMILE FROM NOW ON…”
The exchange suggests that Sunjung also helped report or corroborate the violence.
For the first time, Sang-wook imagines returning to school without Song-hak controlling the ending.
Strips 16–18 — Song-hak ambushes the victim¶
A voice calls mockingly:
“WOOGI~ WOOGI~ SANG-WOOK~!”
Song-hak appears and imitates the hopeful conversation.
“LET’S GO TO SCHOOL WITH A SMILE FROM NOW ON??”
“HEHEHEHE, LOOK AT THIS IDIOT.”
He asks whether Sang-wook and “that piggy bastard” are filming the ending of a movie.
“I GUESS YOU STILL DON’T KNOW ME?”
Song-hak says the school-violence committee and police do not matter.
“IT DOESN’T MATTER IF I GET EXPELLED OR GET SENT TO PRISON, BUT…”
What he cannot tolerate is Sang-wook believing he can be happy after opposing him.
He notices Sang-wook’s injured or bandaged hand and mocks it as a new greeting.
The encounter confirms Lim’s concern: a short suspension can be followed by immediate retaliation against the reporter.
Strips 19–20 — Lim interrupts the attack¶
Song-hak attacks Sang-wook.
The panels show sudden movement, a raised arm or improvised strike, and a violent impact.
Lim enters between them and counters. Song-hak’s head snaps back.
She then presses the elevator button with complete calm.
The elevator doors open while Song-hak is still recovering from the blow.
Her timing suggests she followed Sang-wook because she expected retaliation.
Strip 21 — The warning arrived on the first day¶
Lim faces Song-hak in front of the elevator.
Sang-wook stands behind her.
“I THOUGHT YOU’D RETALIATE,”
“SO I CAME TO WARN THE VICTIM…”
She smiles coldly.
“BUT I NEVER IMAGINED THIS WOULD HAPPEN ON THE FIRST DAY.”
Song-hak has demonstrated that the committee’s limited sanction produced no reflection at all.
Strip 22 — Song-hak tries a surprise attack¶
Song-hak smirks through his injuries.
“DID I CATCH YOU OFF GUARD?”
“OR…”
He launches another sudden strike.
“DID YOU NOT THINK AT ALL?!”
Lim intercepts and controls him at close range. A small inset gives the exchange a mocking score:
“CORRECT—3 POINTS!”
Song-hak answers with a black balloon:
“BECAUSE IT’S EASY?”
The final close-up shows Lim’s eyes widening into a flat, dangerous stare.
The cliffhanger holds just before she answers his confidence with the next stage of discipline.

Imperfect Comics Discord, game-collaboration, recruitment, and support notices close the chapter.
Chapter-level observations¶
1. Public humiliation destroys Song-hak’s real asset¶
His physical strength matters less than the belief that opposing him is hopeless. Photographs of his defeated group break that belief across the school.
2. Retaliation is motivated by the victim’s happiness¶
Song-hak can imagine prison or expulsion. What he cannot endure is Sang-wook returning with dignity and relationships intact.
3. Lim treats retaliation as predictable¶
She does not assume the committee decision concluded the case. She follows the victim because the period immediately after reporting is dangerous.
4. The “three points” joke attacks the committee’s logic¶
Lim reduces Song-hak’s attempted surprise assault to a small score, echoing the administrative point system that previously reduced Sang-wook’s suffering to twelve out of twenty.
