Reader page 1 — Yeri interrogates the handler¶
Yeri presses a stun device against the female helper and demands Yoon-jung’s location.
The woman says Yoon-jung was sent out to work.
She admits that the girl’s face was injured because she refused an order.
Yeri mocks the woman’s appearance and threatens to increase the stun level.
The interrogation is personal: Yoo-jung entrusted her sister’s safety to Yeri, and every delay may leave Yoon-jung with another customer.
Reader pages 2–3 — The house mobilizes¶
More women and gang associates arrive.
The leader orders them to kill or incapacitate Yeri.
At another point in the building, Lim says she gave Yeri a stun device and hopes she is managing.
The parallel panels show that the operation is larger than a single apartment. Multiple rooms and groups answer to the same authority.
Reader page 4 — Attempted disposal¶
The gang decides to throw Yeri into a room occupied by male runaways or associates.
They tell the boys that the “big sister” has given permission to do whatever they want.
The threat uses sexual violence and group assault as an enforcement tool.
Yeri fights through the room rather than submitting.
Reader pages 5–6 — A search through the alleys¶
After the disruption, members scatter through alleys and connected buildings searching for Yeri.
She realizes that the organization controls numerous rooms and a large number of runaway children.
This is not merely a predatory household. It is a distributed network capable of moving people and hiding evidence.
Yeri contacts Na or the agency.
“WE FOUND IT, BUT RIGHT NOW…”
Her message communicates both success and urgency.
Reader page 7 — The leader threatens the remaining girls¶
The female boss berates the runaways for allowing the infiltration.
She threatens to call their parents and send them home.
For children who escaped abuse, parental return is a powerful weapon.
She says Yoon-jung was sent to work and is resting only because her face was injured.
The statement confirms the girl’s continued exploitation.
Reader page 8 — Yoon-jung is ordered out again¶
A male handler tells Yoon-jung to leave for another appointment.
Her face is bruised.
She says the customer for the day seems strange and asks not to go.
The handler says she owes them for food and drink.
He dismisses the recent murder of another runaway as unusual and promises to pick her up later.
Debt is used to make exploitation sound like repayment.
Reader page 9 — Dropped into the nightlife district¶
A van leaves Yoon-jung in a commercial nightlife area.
She stands alone under signs and artificial light.
The contrast between her school age and the adult district makes the danger visible.
She looks for an exit that does not return her to the helper network.
Reader page 10 — “Please help me”¶
Yoon-jung approaches police.
“PLEASE HELP ME.”
The exact response is not fully shown in the surviving page transition, but the next intact scene places her inside the same nightlife economy rather than safely removed from it.
The chapter thereby reflects the fear expressed by other runaways: contacting authority does not always produce a safe destination.
Reader pages 11–12 — Sent to room twelve¶
At a karaoke or noraebang reception desk, an employee recognizes Yoon-jung as one of “Hyangmi’s” girls.
She is sent to room twelve.
Yoon-jung enters cautiously, expecting another abusive customer.
Instead, she finds an eccentric man in a white jacket and glasses singing passionately into a microphone.
Reader pages 13–15 — The strange customer¶
The man performs and references Korean punk or rock groups such as Lazybone, Crying Nut, and No Brain.
He asks Yoon-jung what she thinks of the song and whether a “Joseon punk” look is returning.
His energy is theatrical and bewildering rather than immediately predatory.
Yoon-jung stands frozen, unable to understand why she was sent to this person.
The chapter ends before clarifying his identity or intentions.

Chapter-level observations¶
1. The network uses home as a threat¶
For children fleeing abuse, “we will call your parents” functions like a confinement weapon.
2. Debt converts survival into obligation¶
Food and shelter are later presented as costs the child must repay through sexual or criminal labor.
3. Yoon-jung attempts to seek formal help¶
Her plea to police shows that she has not simply accepted the network. The apparent failure to reach safety exposes the weakness of the available response.
4. The final customer is intentionally ambiguous¶
He does not behave like the expected predator, but Chapter 67 alone does not establish whether he is safe, connected to the agency, or dangerous in another way.
