Hwajin na
Hwajin Na is the main protagonist of "Get Schooled", and one of the main protagonist in "The Great War". He is one of the key figures in the Blue String Universe.
As a warden of the TRPA, he enforces and straightens out the abuse within society, mainly students, teachers, and even the parents. While doing this, he searches for a way to avenge his fiancée, Gayoon Choi, as her death was caused by her own student.
appearance¶
Hwajin has long and stubble and unkempt black hair that he occasionally ties back into a ponytail, but prefers to let it loose. He has a faint stubble. In the past he had much shorter, black hair and a clean shaved face. His main wardrobe consists of a solid black suit. Off the clock he wears a black t-shirt and black jeans.
He refuses to get a haircut because he’s in mourning.
Back when he served in the military he wore a full camo uniform, clean cut face, and had short hair. After the death of Gayoon, he hair grew a bit with wavy black hair and wore a white t-shirt and dark blue jeans. When he was living under his father’s roof, he wore a grey t-shirt and matching sweatpants. His hair was still short and he didn’t have facial hair.
personality¶
Has a very tough and thick skin personality, not even his father throwing glass bottle of booze right above his head fazed Hwajin at the slightest.
He can be cheerful when interacting with friends or handling bullies, but can be serious if the situation gets dire.
Underneath the surface, he’s still heartbroken over his fiancée’s death and is furious at the thought of her murderer still denying any wrongdoing. Hwajin will even get angry at Hanrim when she jokes about his hairstyle and suggests he gets a haircut, since he proclaimed to be in mourning and thus refuses to cut his hair.

In his youth, he was trying to study while ignoring his father’s demands that he get a job, but only so that he’ll sponge off his son’s paycheck for more beer. His father tells him that it’s pointless to study for college admissions due to their poor background and refuses to pay for admission. Hwajin explains that he’s only applying to the military academy because the admission and dorms are free of charge and believes it’s hopeless to apply to any other college.
His father is pleased by this and encourages him to study for the military. At some point Hwajin does successfully enlist into the 707th Special Group via the officer route. Rose to be a captain. He was then part of the army's special warfare department.
abilities¶
Befitting his background as a captain in the 707th Special Group, his basic capabilities are formidable. He did not even flinch when a knife was embedded in his body or his arm was fractured, and he possesses a level of toughness that allowed him to remain unharmed even after taking a direct hit to the face from Gwonhyeok Jang, who possesses considerable punching power. His strength is also substantial; he shattered Gwonhyuk's ribs with a single blow, and made Taecheon writhe in agony with just the grip of one hand after grabbing his wrist.
Notably, Hwajin delivered a punch directly into the closed car window, shattering the glass while simultaneously generating that level of destructive power to Yungyeol Ji, merely grazing his cheek caused the inside of his mouth to burst open and blood to flow. The fact that such power was generated despite the resistance of the car window should have reduced the punch's force demonstrates that his punching power is considerable. He fights against Deccan, and achieves a perfect landslide victory against him, who even uses weapons, without taking a single effective hit. Which is substantial as Deccan had overwhelmed Youngha Jeon when they were teenagers.
He demonstrated outstanding fighting skills by achieving overwhelming victories against all sorts of strong opponents. Hwajin fought an evenly against Taecheon , who was the strongest person in the Incheon region at the time. Despite having injuries from gripping the blade with his bare hands, he engaged in a battle on equal footing. However, as soon as he awakened upon the mention of Gayoon's name, he overwhelmed Taecheon by subduing him with a single blow. When he realized that Taecheon had considerable resilience and his attacks were ineffective, he demonstrated his combat sense by striking the neck—a part that cannot be trained—to subdue him instantly.
He made his full appearance and the outline of his true abilities began to gradually emerge. He instantly subdued and defeated several Otrim bodyguards who were trying to find and kill Yeonwoo. When and Gamin Youn temporarily teamed up and attacked him, he used their strength against them and easily threw them away in the blink of an eye. Afterwards, he displayed outstanding skill by effortlessly dodging Dajun's attacks and toying with him, and effortlessly deflecting all of Gamin's barrage of attacks.
Furthermore, even when Dajun and Gamin attacked indiscriminately with a pincer attack, he calmly smiled and parried everything. He also easily blocked Dajun's dirty play attempt to obscure his vision with dirt and took him out. He then showed phenomenal skill by blocking two forbidden techniques used by Gamin without much difficulty, and instead unleashing his true power to mercilessly beat Gamin with a barrage of attacks, taking him out as well. In addition, during the final fight between Dajun crew and Yuseong High School, he showed his strength by instantly intervening between Huisu Kang and Moogyu Choi, who were about to clash, and easily grabbing and throwing both of them.
In conclusion, seeing his fighting ability to easily defeat both Dajun and Gamin at the same time, Hw-jin can be seen as a considerably the number one strong fighter in Blue String. In addition of being an all-rounder strongman who has basic strength and skills, good sense, mental strength, and intelligence.
