Ryu junhyeong

Junhyeong Ryu is a minor antagonist in season 1 of Get Schooled. A son of an assembly member which he decides to use his influence to usurpt power and to bully others.

In the past, he became a delinquent due to his father's beating as he wasn't good enough, despite his mother's protest to stop Kwangpil. Later, just because his father is a member of the National Assembly, he reigns supreme in his class and creates a vicious bullying culture called the bullying system, bullying the children in his class. He bullied Daeseok Park to death for defying him and then Byungsu Park for fun. When Daeseok suicided, he was scared but due to his father, he didn't get punishment which enforces his feeling of power.

first high school arc

Currently, he was sleeping from a hangover but listens to Hwajin and found him to be a threat to his power. So he orders the students to not listen to him. When Hwajin is told about his father, he flauntly walks but is grabbed and injures Junhyeong to the ground which angered him. To retaliate, he used Byungsu to kill Hwajin but it failed. He was hit by Byungsu and revealed of his father's corruption spread, he became completely powerless.

After that, he became the target of the bullying system he created and was bullied not only by his classmates but also by his juniors. Moreover, when suspicions about him are raised on the news, he is even beaten by his father who is furious when he sees this. In the end, he tries to commit arson at the school out of anger, but is stopped by Hwajin, lectured and is punished. Later, at Hwajin's press conference, evidence of the deeds committed by Junhyeong and his gang is revealed, and he is arrested by the police.

hyeonjin middle school arc

In episode 31, he appears with other inmates watching Jiwung Min and his companions being taken to a juvenile prison. In episode 34, he is said to have informed Gyeom about the TRPA.

epilogue

Appeared again but in a news broadcast showing the TRPA's achievements, as his arrest is shown again.
