Because she was brainwashed by Seongja Kim, she doesn't know any common sense, play with children her age, or let alone addition and subtraction. She calls her own mother a demon.

When Hanlim comes to visit her at a collective farm disguised as an alternative school, she mistakenly says she is a police officer due to being beaten to remember her lines. In the end, when Hanlim, who was unable to understand Juhui'ssituation and caught Seongja , Seoyool attacked Hanlim with a sickle and then hold onto her. After the cult was stopped, she was seen no longer brainwashed and in school with Juhui a few months later.
